I already know how to ride a motorcycle, can I just show up and take the skills riding test?
What do I need to pass this class?
You must attend the entire course, have fun, and participate. You must come prepared with all the safety gear that is previously mentioned in the website. You must also have completed the MSF on-line classroom and E-course portions of the class. You must also pass the riding skills evaluation at the conclusion of the course. The riding skills evaluation includes:
- Swerves
- Cornering
- Quick Stops
- Limited Space maneuvers
Do we get a lunch break?
Lunch breaks are given for classes lasting all day. Lunch is not provided for you, you may bring snacks and beverages. Periodic breaks are given throughout all classes.
What if I need to reschedule?
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. You may reschedule your original class one time for no charge if it is 10 or more days before the class start date. If you already rescheduled your class and need to move the date again, or are rescheduling less than 10 days before your scheduled class date, the following fees will apply.
- 4 to 9 days before your class date: $125.00
- 3 days or less: $175.00
If you decide to cancel your class completely the following fees will apply:
- 15 days or more from your start date: $15.00
- 10 to 14 days before your start date: $50.00
- 4 to 9 days before your start date: $125.00
- 3 days or less before your start date: NO REFUND
Do I get a license directly from you?
What about the weather like rain?
Riding will continue rain or shine. We do ride in the rain and someday you will too. Perhaps it may rain during class. Range exercises will be suspended only during periods of heavy rains, high winds, snow, or lightning. Rain gear is not provided. Please be prepared and bring rain gear with you if you do not want to get wet when riding.
Do I my learner’s permit (temporary license) prior to taking this class?
CAN I Use my own motorcycle?
No, motorcycles are provided for you in the Basic Rider Course.
What do I need to bring to class?
You will need to bring the required riding gear. This consists of:
- DOT approved helmet
- Full-fingered gloves (no open fingered gloves)
- Boots that fully cover the ankle
- Long Sleeve Shirt or Jacket, must fully cover your arms
- Ankle length non-flare pants without holes or tears
- Eye protection if your helmet doesn’t have a face shield. (prescription glasses or sunglasses are acceptable)
